The Cobra ZL Driver is the longest distance driver that Cobra has created. They essentially told their engineers to start over from scratch and focus on developing the longest driver possible. In the 36 years that the Cobra company has existed this is the best driver they have made.
The ZL stands for zero limits and the driver really lives up to its name because it utilizes all the best technology combined.
First, you have the 9 Point Face Technology that features a thin stamped face to increase ball speed at launch.
Then Cobra designed the crown to encompass a blend of multi-materials. Titanium is used in the face for strength and light weight. To further decrease the overall weight of the club head, carbon composite is used at the top of the crown. There is also a steel weight at the bottom rear, for optimal center of gravity.
With these technologies put together, you get a super fast driver that is weighted at all the right places, the perfect combination for distance.
For accuracy, the ZL has the AFT (Adjustable Flight Technology) that provides you with the adjustability for the club face position to open, draw or closed. This technology is something that you see in the best drivers and of course the ZL would have it.
